How To Remove A Chocolate Stain From Clothes? Grandma's Trick.
Has a chocolate stain appeared on your clothes?
Do not panic !
I have 2 super effective grandma tips to get rid of that nasty stain in the blink of an eye.
When I have a chocolate stain on my t-shirt, I take care of it right now.
Why ? Because the longer you wait, the more it becomes embedded in the tissues.
How to do
I take half a lemon and squeeze it over the stain. But if you don't have fresh lemon, you can also use bottled lemon concentrate no problem.
Then I rub the stain for a few moments and I put my t-shirt in the machine for 10 minutes.
Another solution if you don't have a lemon
I scratch the stain with my fingernail to remove the chocolate crumbs. Then I clean it with a cloth soaked in cold water and soap.
If I'm dealing with a really tough stain, I use the ultimate stain weapon: the vinegarWhite so appreciated by our grandmothers.
I pour a little on a soft cloth, I rub the stain with the fabric and I finish by rinsing the mark under hot water.
Above all, do not rinse it with boiling water: the extreme heat damages the fabric and risks cooking the trace of chocolate inscribed in the fibers.
Savings made
The spots, we can get there without spending too much.
Well, it's true that not everyone has a lemon or a bottle of white vinegar at home (that's a shame, by the way). But you must have some leftover soap lying around in the kitchen or in the bathroom?
You might as well try to remove this stain with what we already have at home! If we do it quickly enough, we manage to find an impeccable t-shirt, which saves 5 €, since we avoid going through the "professional stain removers" box.
