Food moths at home! We had to act quickly before it was a disaster ...
But no question of using chemicals next to food. In addition, it is not cheap ...
Fortunately, there is an effective grandma's remedy for getting rid of food moths for good.
The tried and tested trick is to place a bowl of apple cider vinegar with washing up liquid in the cupboard. Look :
What you need
- 750 ml of cider vinegar
- a few drops of dishwashing liquid
- bowl
How to do
1. Pour the apple cider vinegar into the bowl.
2. Add the washing-up liquid.
3. Place the bowl in the infested cupboard.
4. Leave on for a week.
5. Once the majority of the moths are exterminated, empty the cupboard.
6. Throw away all wheat products (packages of flour, pasta, rusks and bread).
7. Clean cupboards in every nook and cranny, even boxes, with a mixture of water, white vinegar and dish soap.
Results
And There you go ! Thanks to this grandmother's thing, no more food moths in the cupboard :-)

The moths will be attracted to this mixture and will drown in it.
Not very nice ... but should not nibble on my provisions!
I can tell you that thanks to this homemade trap, I have no moths at all at home.
Additional advice
This treatment is 100% natural and does not require the use of insecticides such as Kapo.
By spraying these toxic products, you can say goodbye to all the groceries in your closet because they are harmful to us too. Such a waste !
If you have a large cupboard, you can divide the mixture into 2 bowls to put on either side of the cupboard.
Why does it work?
Apple cider vinegar attracts moths with its pungent, sweet smell.
Trust me, food moths can't resist!
Then, the dishwashing liquid will "stick" the insects and accelerate the drowning.
