Let us go back 2000 years in Greece. It was at this time that Galen, one of the fathers of medicine, developed this moisturizer recipe.
It's easy to do, completely natural, and this cream can be used to remove makeup and protect the skin, thanks in particular to beeswax which protects the skin from external aggressions.
This cream has even been shown to reduce wrinkles and signs of aging.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 8 tablespoons of grated beeswax
- 200 ml of sweet almond oil
- 1/2 cup rose water
- 2 small clean and disinfected glass jars
How to do
1. In a saucepan, mix the beeswax and honey in the sweet almond oil.
2. Heat over low heat.
3. Once the mixture has melted, remove the pan from the heat.
4. Let cool for a few minutes.
5. Pour the rose water drop by drop into the saucepan, whisking at the same time.
6. Once the rose water is well incorporated into the mixture, the cream begins to pearl. This is when you can stop mixing.
7. Let stand for a few minutes to cool.
8. Put the mixture in the 2 glass jars and let cool completely before putting on the lids.
Results
And there you have it, your homemade day cream is ready to use :-)

Note that the cream will thin out as it cools in the jars.
