Social Telephone Discount: How To Get It Easily?

Then you have the right to a reduction on your France Telecom (Orange) telephone subscription.
To easily obtain this social reduction, the procedure to follow is not that obvious.

Which operators give you this reduction?
For now, France Telecom (Orange) is the only one to save you a few euros on your bill.
Another very important clarification: you must have a traditional telephone subscription to take advantage of this reduction.
If you have subscribed to an offer internet-telephone-television like a subscription to the Livebox for example, or that you are in total unbundling (like for the Freebox) it is missed for you.
How much is the reduction?
If your operator is Orange, the social telephone reduction allows you to take advantage of a reduction on your monthly telephone subscription.
Note that the reduction is only valid for your main residence.
The subscription goes from € 17.96 per month, to € 6.49 including tax per month. That is a reduction of 63%.
The telephone reduction is valid for 12 months, and she is renewable every year.
If you continue to receive RSA the following year, your social organization automatically sends you the certificate certifying that you are entitled to a reduction on your landline bill.
For your part, as soon as you receive the document, you still have to send it to France Telecom (Orange) to continue to benefit from this advantage.
How to get your social telephone reduction?
If you have a traditional telephone subscription, you must complete a certificate to take advantage of this reduction.
Normally, you should receive this certificate by post automatically,
If this is not the case, it is necessary therequest at the CAF, the Pôle Emploi or the MSA.
To save you time, you can also use this certificate in PDF format or use this template.
Once you have completed the certificate, you make a photocopythat you send directly to Orange.
The telephone operator then takes care of setting up your reduction.
By the way, when I have important documents to post, I send them by registered mail, with acknowledgment of receipt.
If you want to be reassured, you can do the same! It costs 5 €, but at least we know that the document has arrived.
Savings made
If you receive RSA, this reduction on telephone subscription is rather good news.
The reduction amounts to € 11.47 per month. By removing this amount from your telephone bill, you save € 137.64 per year.
