I first poured a 1/2 cup of baking soda through each pipe. I added 1/2 cup of white vinegar, and quickly closed the cap to keep the chemical reaction inside the pipe.
Thirty minutes later, I poured half a kettle of boiling water into each pipe to drain the vinegar and baking soda.
