There you go, your sushi is already ready :-)

It's not that hard and it's fast, is it? Plus, it's economical to make your own sushi at home.

It only remains to put wasabi and soy sauce in small bowls for tasting.

Bonus tip

When I organize a sushi night, I vary the flavors by preparing sushi with various fish: tuna, sea bream or even eel.

To make it easier and not to damage the flesh of my fish, I remove the bones with tweezers.

Cutting fish is a real art in Japan. To best respect the texture of the flesh of my fish, I use a knife with a rigid and non-flexible blade, like this one because it will be more practical to cut it without damaging it.

I then cut the net in half in the length and then slices 5 mm thick in the perpendicular.

How much does it cost ?

- 300 g of round-grain white rice: at € 3 per kilo, i.e. € 0.90

- 400 g of fresh salmon: at € 16.20 per kilo or € 6.48

- 4 tablespoons of rice vinegar: 40 ml at 3 € for 150 ml or 0.80 €

- 3 g of Wasabi paste: € 0.06

- 6 tablespoons of soy sauce: 100 ml at € 8.96 per liter or € 0.89

That is an original and light dinner for 6 people at € 9.13 or € 1.52 per guest.

All you have to do is wield your chopsticks with ease and voila!
