- 1 tablespoon of shea butter

- 3 to 4 drops of Roman chamomile essential oil

- 1 vitamin E capsule

Melt the shea butter in a double boiler. Pierce the vitamin E capsule and add it to the butter. Mix gently. Off the heat, add the essential oil and mix gently. Pour immediately into a small jar that closes well.

3. Super easy to make rose balm

- 5 grams of beeswax in granules

- 15 ml of sweet almond oil

- 2 drops of Damascus rose essential oil

Melt the beeswax in a double boiler with sweet almond oil. Off the heat, add the essential oil and mix gently. Pour straight away into a small glass jar or tube of lipstick.

For a more economical version, you can replace rose essential oil with rosewood essential oil or bourbon rose geranium.

4. Oriental honey-almond balm

- 2 teaspoons of granulated beeswax

- 15 ml of sweet almond oil

- 1/2 teaspoon of acacia honey

- 2 drops of bitter orange petitgrain essential oil

Melt the beeswax in a double boiler with the sweet almond oil. Add the honey and mix. Remove from the heat then add the essential oil. Pour straight away into a small glass jar or tube of lipstick.

5. Wheat germ balm

- 1 level teaspoon of granulated beeswax

- 2 teaspoons of wheat germ oil

- 2 teaspoons of olive oil

- 1/2 teaspoon of honey

- 2 drops of Roman chamomile essential oil

Melt the beeswax in a double boiler with the oils, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat then add the essential oil while stirring. Pour straight away into a small glass jar or tube of lipstick.

This balm is really very protective for your lips. If you have fragile and often chapped lips, this balm will be your best ally in winter!

6. Express lip balm

- 1 knob of shea butter

- 1 drop of bitter orange petitgrain essential oil (or rosewood, or Roman chamomile)

Melt the shea butter in the palm of your hand, stirring with your index finger. Add the drop of essential oil and mix. Apply liberally to your lips with your finger. If there is any mixture left over, don't waste it! Rub your hands with it, they will thank you!

7. Soothing oil for chapped lips

- 10 ml of sweet almond oil (or jojoba, borage)

- 4 drops of Roman chamomile essential oil

Mix the ingredients and pour everything into a small bottle. Apply to the lips with the tip of your finger. Massage to make it penetrate well.

Note that you can replace chamomile with essential oil of rosewood, officinal lavender or petitgrain bitter orange.
