4 Easy Recipes To Cook Leftover Meat Instead of Throwing It Out.

2. I make stuffed tomatoes

There too, I make my stuffing with my leftover meat: beef, sausage meat or even chicken. You just have to cut them into small cubes, removing any bones and cartilage, then mix everything. I can even use leftover bread to make my breadcrumbs.

3. I prepare meat puffs

Do you have any minced meat left? Have you planned too much meat to prepare your steak tartare? If the minced meat keeps poorly, take the opportunity to prepare delicious meat puffs.

1. In a frying pan, place a knob of butter and brown the minced meat for 3 min with a pre-chopped onion. Add salt and pepper.

2. Preheat your oven to 210 °.

3. Roll out your puff pastry and cut it evenly.

4. Pour the meat preparation in the center of each piece of dough and close in a crescent shape.

5. Brush the puff pastry with egg yolk and bake for ten minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.

4. I serve a terrine

Preparing a terrine is a great way to use up your leftover cooked meat. Beef, lamb, rabbit or even chicken, they can all be cooked easily.

1. I preheat my oven to 200 °.

2. I roughly mix the leftover meat that I want to incorporate into the terrine as well as an onion and a little bread. I add 2 eggs.

3. In a salad bowl, I mix everything and wet it with a little crème fraîche. I salt and pepper.

4. I pack the preparation in a bowl and put the dish in the oven for 45 min.

5. I let cool before serving.
