Finally A Reusable, Economical and Ecological Coffee Capsule!

When the Nespresso machines came out, I ran into them!

A good coffee in a few seconds, what happiness!

But I quickly realized that the capsules were not only a big investment ...

... but in addition an ecological disaster with all the aluminum capsules that end up in the trash!

Indeed, aluminum has a degradation time of 200 years ...

So what a joy for me to present to you a reusable, economical and ecological capsule. Look :

reusable coffee capsules to make less waste

How much does it cost : 25,89 €

Buy cheap reusable capsules

Why is it smart?

1. Because instead of throwing away the pods, you reuse the same one every day. Fewer disposable pods = less waste.

2. Because you are making real savings. Indeed, Nespresso capsules cost much more than coffee in a classic packet.

3. Because these reusable stainless steel capsules are easy to wash and go very well in the dishwasher.

Steps for using the refillable capsules

My opinion

The only downside to filling pods is the taste.

Many coffee drinkers say that the resulting drink is of lower quality than that made with Nespresso capsules.

My opinion is that you have to test with different ground coffeesto get the right flavor.

Everything is therefore subjective and it is up to you to choose the coffee that suits you and which most closely resembles your favorite flavors at Nespresso.

Refillable plastic capsules

Be aware that there are other types of reusable capsules for coffee machines.

Including refillable plastic capsules.

I prefer the aluminum ones, but I have friends who swear by other capsules that are also compatible with Nespresso machines.

Don't worry, these plastic capsules are BPA free, so no health risk.

Savings made

I drink at least 2 coffees a day plus friends who come home, I estimate that I use around 950 capsules in the year.

A Nespresso capsule costs on average 0.53 € x 950 = 503 € per year.

A packet of quality ground coffee costs around € 3.50 for 250 g.

Using 5 grams of coffee per capsule, this comes down to 0.08 € x 950 = 76 €.

Annual savings = € 427

Ah yes, all the same! You will understand why I did not hesitate to switch to reusable capsules.
