The trick is touse corks or paper towel. Look :

1. Corks + 70 ° alcohol

How to make fire starters with corks

To make a fire starter easily, do not throw away your corks!

Put 70 ° alcohol in a glass jar then add the corks in it.

Close the jar and let the corks soak in alcohol for at least 2 days.

All you have to do is place 2 or 3 corks in the charcoal and light them with a match.

2. With stoppers and wax

Do you have any leftover candles? Perfect ! If you don't have one, take food paraffin.

Melt your candle pieces over low heat. Be careful not to boil the wax!

Take a few corks and dip them in. Collect them with tongs and let them cool.

Place them in an airtight box, well dry.

When the time comes, place them in the charcoal and light them with a match.

Remember to clean your pan right away otherwise you risk damaging it. But don't throw leftover melted wax down your sink, sink, or toilet. You can block the pipes.

It is better that you throw it in a corner of your garden.

Another solution is to prepare a few sheets of newspaper on top of each other, to have a good thickness. All you have to do is empty the rest of the wax on it. Fold the sheets and presto, throw it all in the trash.

3. Paper towel + oil

Use paper towels and oil to light a barbecue

Don't have corks at home? No worries !

You probably have some paper towels and some oil. Rapeseed, sunflower, or olive oil will do just fine.

Take 4 sheets of kitchen paper and form 4 compact balls. Pour a few drops of your chosen oil over it.

Put your oiled paper balls on the charcoal and light them with matches or a lighter. Simple, efficient and fast!
