This trick works on all types of parquet: waxed, vitrified, floating or laminate.

For Sommières earth to be effective in removing paint stains, it is recommended to act as quickly as possible.

The drier the paint stain, the harder it will be to remove.

If the stain is old, let Sommières soil act for more than 3 hours.

Why does it work?

The earth of Sommières is an ultra-fine cleaning clay that originally comes from a small village, Sommières, located near Montpellier.

It has a very important absorbing power: it can absorb up to 80% of its weight in water!

It is for this reason that it is a very effective natural dry stain remover, in particular to remove a stain of oil paint.

It is recommended for absorbing grease, mayonnaise or paint stains on clothing, upholstery and other textiles even if they are fragile like silk.

It also removes stubborn stains on furniture, rugs, leather, linoleum, wood, marble or granite.

Bonus tip

If the stain is really encrusted or old, all is not lost!

To remove it, mix Sommières earth with a little turpentine to make a paste.

Then gently dab the stain with and remove the excess.

If you use turpentine, do so in a well-ventilated room to avoid headaches, sore throat, coughing, or feelings of confusion and shortness of breath.

You can wear a protective mask to avoid these inconveniences. Also, don't forget to put on gloves to protect your hands.
