A friend, a big fan of family barbecues, gave me a tip to stop buying charcoal. Super practical and obviously very economical.
The trick is very simple because you just need to replace the charcoal with wine bottle stoppers.
Yes yes you read that right. Wine bottle corks are cork and allow you to barbecue even when you run out of charcoal.
The cork burns very well and a nice outbreak is quickly and easily obtained. I saw it with my own eyes and I can tell you that it works as well as coal.

Fortunately, my friend did not become an alcoholic so far! He also shared with me his second tip for accumulating traffic jams easily.
His solution is to put up all year round! Since barbecues are quite rare in the snow, it is during the winter that my friend is stocking up on corks.
And if he hasn't opened enough of the bottle, he doesn't hesitate to ask his friends for more. That way, as soon as summer arrives, it is completely serene and avoids buying charcoal at nearly 25 euros per 10 kg ...
So the next time you open a bottle with friends, don't throw the cork in the trash and think about the charcoal you'll save.
