And the results when washing my family's clothes are impeccable despite the absence of very corrosive products.

Last little more, this recipe is even beneficial for your washing machine because it does not clog it. Look :

Ingredients

recipe for homemade lavender laundry

- 500 ml of hot water

- 250 g of baking soda

- 250 ml of Castile soap

- 75 g of salt

- 10 drops of organic lavender essential oil

- 1 glass bottle

1. Mix the ingredients

easy to do home laundry

Combine the 500 ml of hot water, baking soda and salt in a glass container. No need to buy a glass bottle! You can use an old one, for example one containing milk, some orange juice or soups.

2. Shake the mixture

Make sure the lid is closed securely, then shake well. Be aware that the ingredients may come apart when you are not using the laundry. Since there are no chemicals in this recipe, there is no binding agent. You just need to shake the bottle well each time before using it.

3. Add the Castile soap

Now add 250 ml of Castile soap. I like "Marseille soap" type liquid soap. It exists in a scented version (rose, lavender, mint ...). I like the lavender one, but you can also choose it unscented. There are also other brands of Castile soaps, like this one without perfume and entirely organic.

4. Add the essential oil

Now add 10 drops of lavender essential oil. If you don't like lavender, you can use any other one you like. Or just leave the laundry neutral.

5. Pour into the glass container

store homemade laundry in a glass bottle

I usually make a large bottle of laundry detergent, but you can also divide it among several small containers that are easy to lift. It allows to share it in different bottles and why not to flavor it differently.

How to use your homemade laundry?

For each wash I use about 60ml of this fabulous laundry! (Remember to shake it well before use).

The clothes come out super clean and with a nice fresh smell! This mixture does not foam much, which is quite beneficial for your washing machine because it does not clog it.
