How To Keep Your Toilets Clean For Much LONGER.

I am the mother of 2 children, and for me, the cleanliness of the toilets is by far one of the most painful household chores.

If you too are on a cleaning chore, you know what I mean!

In addition, I live in a region of France where the water is particularly hard.

This means that the toilets become scaled very quickly and that the limestone settles wherever there is water ...

How do I clean the toilet thoroughly?

But I recently decided to find a solution to this problem and I would like to share my tips with you.

With this technique, you will save time and energy in the long run.

Why ? Because your toilets will stay clean and tartar-free for much longer! I explain to you ? Here we go !

What you need

What are the things needed to properly clean the toilet?

- white vinegar

- a suitable scrub brush

- repair tape (yes yes, tape! You'll see why later)

How to do

1. Turn off the water supply to your toilet. FYI, it's not complicated. Just turn off the tap at the end of the small tube connected to your toilet. At home, the water inlet tap looks like this:

2. After shutting off the water supply, flush the toilet to completely empty the tank. Pour 3 to 4 liters of water into the tank to drain the rest of the water.

3. With a suitable brush, scrub the underside of the rim of the toilet bowl without forgetting the holes through which the water comes out when flushing. It is important to clean them well, as it is essential to keep your toilet clean for longer.

What is the place in the toilet that you rarely think of cleaning?

4. Wipe a rag or paper towel under the tub to completely dry the surface.

5.Once the surface is clean and dry, seal each hole under the rim of the tub with duct tape. Make sure the tape is stuck together and holds securely in place.

How can repair tape help you clean the toilet?

6. Pour a generous amount of white vinegar into your toilet tank.

7. Flush. This will allow the white vinegar to enter the holes under the rim of the tub and especially to stay therebecause the tape will prevent it from leaking.

Why fill your tank with white vinegar?

8.Leave the magic of white vinegar to work overnight.

9. The next day, remove the tape and turn on the water tap. Flush 2 or 3 times to remove all lime deposits!

Results

There you go, you will now be able to keep your toilets clean for a while :-)

Your toilets are completely descaled, no more yellow limestone deposits on the bowl!

You removed the limescale without using chemicals. It's much better for the environment and your septic tank if you have one.

The best time to deep clean your toilet is evening, before going to bed.

Thus, the vinegar has time to act overnight in order to properly dissolve the lime deposits which block the holes under the rim of the bowl.

Why does it work?

This technique works because it tackles the root of the problem of holes under the rim of the tank that clog up due to limestone.

And who says blocked holes, says less water to evacuate the dirt in your toilet!
