6 Virtues of Methylene Blue That NOBODY Knows.
Methylene blue was created by a German chemist at the end of the 19th century.
Its particularity is this deep blue color which tints everything it touches.
Before the advent of antibiotics, methylene blue was a formidable ally in defeating bacteria, fungi and other troublesome viruses.
It was also one of the first effective treatments against malaria.
This product has fallen into oblivion. However, its multiple qualities would often make it possible to treat a small ailment without using heavy pharmaceutical artillery.
Here are 6 virtues of methylene blue:
1. Treat your angina
This is the most well-known use. I'm sure some readers still remember this methylene blue treatment.
A knitting needle covered with cotton wool soaked in blue was used in the throat. Then, we rubbed this cotton on the tonsils to disinfect them. The angina was cured within 48 hours.
This somewhat barbaric method may not be necessary. This also works:
- Dilute a few drops of methylene blue in a glass of water.

For a 100 l aquarium. of water, dilute 10 ml of methylene blue for aquarium to sanitize the water and prevent epidemics.
