A Cook's Tip To Keep Cream Fresh TWICE LONGER.

Tired of throwing in the crème fraîche because it has turned?

It is true that it is a fragile product!

Once the jar is opened, it can quickly be damaged ...

As a result, an odd film may develop on the surface, even if the expiration date has not passed.

Fortunately, a cook friend gave me a tip for keeping cream in the fridge twice as long.

The simple trick is to keep the jar of crème fraîche upside down. Look :

How to do

1. Once the jar is open, close the lid of the fresh cream jar.

2. Place the jar upside down in the fridge.

3. Each time you use it, turn it upside down.

Results

And there you have it, with this trick your crème fraîche can be kept twice as long :-)

Simple and practical, isn't it? No more wasted cream and easy savings!

With this technique, it remains smoother and retains all its taste qualities, even if the jar is open.

Why does it work?

The whey at the bottom of the pot will rise. It will thus form a protective layer which will limit contact with air.

As a result, the development of bacteria is much less important, which allows the cream to keep for much longer. Awesome, isn't it?

Note that this grandmother's tip also works for fromage blanc, faisselles or other fresh dairy products like yoghurts.
