There you go, you now know how to peel, pit and cut an avocado in 1 minute flat :-)

Easy, fast and efficient, isn't it?

Which is really great with this technique is that you get nice pieces of avocado intact ...

... without having to scrape the avocado skin with a spoon!

And above all, no risk of cutting yourself to remove the core with a knife.

Additional advice

Know that it is important to lose as little flesh as possible when peeling an avocado.

Why ? Not only so as not to lose a crumb given the price of avocados ...

... but also because the nutrients are mainly found just below the skin.

And since avocado is rich in fiber, vitamin E, folic acid and heart-healthy fats, it would be a shame to go without!

With this technique, you are sure not to spoil this part and get any sticking to the skin.

How do you know if an avocado is ripe?

Hands choosing a ripe avocado from a wooden bin full of avocados.

The more ripe an avocado, the more easily the skin peels off.

But how do you know if an avocado is ripe?

The trick is to look at the peduncle, which lies at the base of the avocado.

Remove the stalk, and if the flesh underneath is brown, it is overripe.

But if it is green in color, it is because it is ready and ready to be tasted ! Check out the trick here.
