The Easy Way To Clean An Air Vent.
An air vent in a house or an apartment gets dirty quickly.
Lots of dirt and dust get lodged in the ventilation grid.
As a result, the air no longer circulates.
The trick to cleaning the ventilation grill easily is to use a butter knife:
How to do
1. Take a little rag and put white vinegar on it.
2. Spray white vinegar (or window cleaner) on the air vent.
3. Place the vinegar-soaked cloth on the end of a butter knife. If the cloth is too thin, consider doubling it.
4. Insert the knife into the grid and move left to right and right to left to remove dirt between the slats.
5. Readjust the rag on the power knife to clean with a clean area of the rag.
6. Rinse and repeat.
Results
And there you have it, in just a few minutes your ventilation grid is very clean :-)
This tip is particularly useful for screens that are difficult to remove or where there is a risk of damaging the paint.
This technique also works for mechanical ventilation grilles or air conditioners.
