I've had an iPhone for years.
But it took me a long time to know all the useful tips and tricks.
To help you make better use of your iPhone, I've picked out 33 tips for you that most people don't know.
These tips work with all iPhones. From the newest iPhone X to iPhone 5S, 6, 7 and 8.

1. Take a photo with the volume button
Much more convenient to take a photo, you just need to click on the volume + or - button to trigger the photo.
2. Use Google Maps without connection
When you go abroad, you can use Google Maps as a free GPS without an internet connection.
Before leaving, when you still have a connection, simply go to the map that interests you and type in the search bar "ok maps".

3. Stop the music with the timer
Did you know that you could stop the music that is playing after a while?

To easily take a selfie, just press the + button on the headset remote.

7. Find recently closed tabs in Safari
Need to find a tab you closed on Safari?
Act as if you were going to open a new tab, but instead of pressing the + 1 time, keep it pressed to bring up the closed tabs window.

8. Use Spotlight search like a pro
When you do a Spotlight search (by sliding your finger down on the home screen), you have access to almost everything stored on your iPhone: your contacts (which can be searched by name or number), apps, messages, calendar events, songs, videos and more.
You can customize where the search is done by going to Settings> General> Spotlight Search.
To save time, you can directly use the Spotlight search, to make a phone call, send a message (instead of going to your contact list), find an app quickly among the hundreds you have, or find an app. song (you can search by title, artist or album) instead of trying to find it in all your playlists.
9. Delete the last digit on the calculator instead of deleting everything
When you make a mistake on the calculator, the first reflex is to press C. Result, you must retype the whole number.
But if you only have one digit to change, swipe left to right to erase the last digit (s) entered. It also works from right to left.
10. Access the scientific calculator
When the calculator is open, put iPhone in landscape mode to access the scientific calculator, which offers many more options.

When a child wants to play with your iPhone or iPad, it can help to limit access to your phone. To do this, use the "Guided access" feature.
This feature will prevent the child from tapping anywhere and ending up in a place where they shouldn't, or worse, accidentally erase something.
To do this, tap Settings> General> Accessibility> Guided access and turn it on. Also activate the Accessibility Shortcut.
Then go to the game or application in question and click 3 times on the Home button of the iPhone to activate the function.
And there you have it, now only the game is playable! Impossible to go elsewhere! To deactivate the function, tap the "Home" button 3 times and enter your secret code.
16. Recharge iPhone 2 times faster with airplane mode
If you put your phone on airplane mode, it will charge twice as fast.

If you are discussing the weather or chemistry, you may need the degree symbol.
To do this, keep your finger pressed on the number 0 for 2 seconds to display the "degree" symbol.
21. Shake iPhone to erase text
Have you typed some text you want to erase? Shake the iPhone to undo your entry.

Just tell Siri "Read my new emails" and it'll give you the name of whoever sent the email, time, subject, and email.
30. Display the time of sending and receiving sms
Just swipe the screen from right to left in your messages.
31. Disable "read" read receipt in messages
Did you know that anyone can see if you have received and read an iMessage?
To deactivate the read receipt and read receipt, go to Settings> Messages and deactivate "Read receipt".
32. Automatically dial a number with an extension
The iPhone's Pause feature allows you to pause after calling a number and then dial another number.
