2 Tips to Make Your Christmas Tree Last Longer.

A beautiful, well-decorated tree is always very pleasant to look at.

But, this pleasure of the eyes only lasts a while.

With my 2 little tips, you will be able to admire your Christmas tree for longer!

To be lucky enough to have a beautiful Christmas tree in your living room, you must first of all choose it correctly.

2 tips for the Christmas tree lasts longer

1. Check the condition of the tree when purchasing

When you decide to buy a tree, don't rush on the first one.

Take the time to take a closer look, because some trees that have been cut too early will not stand up throughout the holiday season.

To check the freshness of the tree, the trick is to pinch a branch of the tree so that you can pull it sharply towards you. So, verdict?

If the tree is freshly cut, no more than 5 or 6 needles should come off. If not, this isn't the Christmas tree for you!

2. Smartly install it in your home

The worst enemy of our beautiful Christmas tree is the heat! Thus, avoid installing your tree too early in the house so that it can withstand the shock.

If you are a farsighted person and have already bought it for a while, all is not lost!

Try to keep it in acool place: a cellar, agarage or outside if possible.

When it's time to set up your tree, remember not to place it too close to a heat source so that it doesn't lose all of its needles in no time.

A day after its installation, you can start decorating it and for this step, simply let your creativity speak.

Bonus tip

I place wet pebbles at its foot or I spraywater every two or three days on its trunk.
