Results
There you go, your homemade fabric softener that smells like mint is already ready :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, isn't it?
This recipe is perfect for replacing softeners, such as Soupline, which are filled with products that are toxic to your skin.
If you combine it with homemade laundry, there is no risk of allergy for fragile skin!
And it is much more economical than a fabric softener like Lenor bought off the shelf.
And you don't even need cornflour or glycerin to make your fabric softener!
Use
It's super easy to use! Just pour your fabric softener into the tub of your washing machine.
Add at least 50 ml of your scented vinegar to the softener compartment of your washing machine.
The vinegar is then diffused during the rinse cycle, which will leave your clothes feeling soft and smelling pleasant.
Bonus tip
If you don't like the smell of mint too much, there are plenty of other fresh herbs you can use instead.
I am thinking of thyme, rosemary, fresh basil, lavender, or even lilac. All of these herbs are also great for making a scented fabric softener.
But whatever herb you choose, be sure to use fresh herbs, not dried ones!
