The trick to making a non-sticky caramel is toadd a little lemon juice as soon as it starts to brown. Look :

- sugar

- water

- lemon

How to do

1. Put the sugar in a saucepan.

2. Add the water.

3. Heat over low heat.

add a lemon juice when the caramel browns

4. As soon as the caramel turns brown, add a squeeze of lemon juice.

And there you have it, you have made your homemade caramel without it sticking to the pan :-)

If you don't have a lemon on hand, you can replace the juice with a few drops of vinegar.
