100% natural ingredients

- powdered arrowroot

- powdered hibiscus

- powdered beetroot

- organic cocoa powder

- freeze-dried powdered peaches

Did you know that store-bought blushes contain ingredients harmful to the skin?

And the worry is that whatever you put on the skin is partly absorbed by the body ...

It is the same principle as for the nicotine patches.

As a result, a significant number of toxins are absorbed by the body.

Hence the importance of using a 100% natural blush, WITHOUT toxins and without any toxic product !

Powdered ingredients to make homemade blush.

As you can see in the photo below, one of the big advantages of this natural recipe is that you can easily change the shades and colors of your blush.

You just have to play with the proportions of the ingredients you use!

And there, the result is quite stunning. Look :

How to do

1. Always start with arrowroot powder as a base.

Why ? Because arrowroot, also called arrowroot, is the perfect ingredient to give a soft and silky touch to your blush and, ipso facto, to the delicate skin of the face.

It is applied to the skin and smooths it evenly. In addition, the arrowroot powder mixes perfectly with all the other ingredients, while maintaining their colors.

2. Then add the other ingredients to bring the desired color.

For my part, I chose the following powders:

- powdered hibiscus

- powdered beetroot

- organic cocoa powder

- freeze-dried powdered peaches

I love playing with all these colors and giving free rein to my imagination, to find new unique and personalized mixtures.

That said, I always keep my favorite mixes on hand :-)

These are my blush recipes that are perfect for any occasion, any outfit, and even when my skin has a light summer tan, on sunny days.

I am sure that, like me, you will become totally addicted to creating new shades: the color combinations are endless!

You can even use other ingredients to discover even more new colors :-)

Results

There you go, you now know how to make your 100% natural blush :-)

Easy, fast and efficient, isn't it?

Note that this type of blush is more suitable for application with a makeup brush.

Before applying, dip your brush directly into the mixture and tap it on the inside of the lid or on the back of your hand, to make sure the powder penetrates the bristles of the brush.

This is the same application technique as for mineral blush, such as that from the overpriced bareMinerals brand, which sells for € 36 for 10 g at Sephora!

Where can I find the ingredients?

Homemade powder blush jars.

- Know that you can prepare your own beetroot powder. Just dehydrate the beets (with a food dehydrator like this one) and then powder them with a food processor. But I find it much easier to buy it. I found some beetroot powder here.

- It's the same for hibiscus powder : I also bought it on the Internet.

- As it concerns cocoa powder and arrowroot powder, I bought them in an organic grocery store. But you can easily find it on the Internet: arrowroot powder and organic cocoa powder.

- To do powdered peaches, I use freeze-dried peaches. I have it all the time at home, because I often put it in my pastries and dried fruit mixes. Or I just nibble them as they are! I buy my freeze-dried peaches here. Then I grind them in a small electric coffee grinder, like this one.

Conservation

To keep those homemade blush blends, I used these makeup containers.

But you can also use a simple small glass jar.
