Electric Scent Diffuser: How To Refill Your Own In 2 Min Chrono.

Scent diffusers are handy for the whole house to smell good.

But did you know that these electric air fresheners contain dangerous ingredients?

Indeed, all these AirWick or Febreze type perfume diffusers contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

However, these VOCs are toxic to the body and can cause all kinds of health problems ...

We are talking about infertility problems, headaches, nervous system disorders, memory loss and even cancer ...

But rest assured, that doesn't mean you have to throw your electric diffuser in the trash!

DIY home fragrance diffuser: how to refill easily

Fortunately, there is a quick and easy solution to recharging an electric diffuser, but without chemicals that are harmful to your health.

The trick is to use natural essential oils to recharge your diffuser.

Not only do these oils have health benefits, but in addition they cost much cheaper than commercial refills.

here is how to make your own recharge for an electric diffuser in 2 minutes flat :

What you need

A bottle of peppermint essential oil.

- an old recharge of your electric diffuser

- peppermint essential oil (or essential oil of your choice)

How to do

1. Remove the wick from the old perfume refill. Ironically, these wicks look like ... cigarettes!

2. Rinse the tank with clean water under the tap.

3. Carefully pour the essential oil of your choice into the bottle.

Here's how to pour essential oil into the reservoir of an old electric diffuser perfume refill.

The more you refill the refill, the longer your electric air freshener will last. I filled mine to about 1/3 of the tank. Look :

4. Fill the rest of the tank with tap water.

Note: do not fill the ampoule to the brim, otherwise the liquid will overflow when you reinsert the wick.
