10 Aromatic Herbs That You Can Easily Grow Together.

You can grow it in your garden, but also in pots in an apartment.
The concern is that there is not necessarily room for all the different herbs ...
Fortunately, to save space at home, you can easily grow some herbs together.
For that, it is enough to group together the plants which have the same needs.

The rule is simple: combine plants that like the same environment.
For example, Mediterranean plants can be planted together, as they need sun and reduced watering.
MEDITERRANEAN HERBS
1. Sage
- Water the sage plants regularly until they are fully developed.
- Then, let them grow by spacing the waterings.
- Be careful, sage spreads a lot. Each spring, cut off the stems that look like wood and leave only the finest.
- To keep a quality plant, replace the sage stems every 4 to 5 years.
2. Thyme
- Water and cut the thyme regularly.
- Remember to prune the thyme to prevent it from invading everything, but also to stimulate the production of young stems which are used in cooking or in herbal tea.
- Remember to protect the foot in winter with a mulch or a winter veil.
3. Rosemary
- Place the rosemary in full sun on your patio or window sill.
- Rosemary loves the sun and needs it at least 6 to 8 hours a day.
- Water the rosemary only when the soil is really dry.
- Add a little natural fertilizer once a month.
- To avoid the appearance of fungus in the pot, it is important that the rosemary is in a well ventilated and unconfined place.
4. Marjoram
- Marjoram requires little care and it is one of the easiest to grow if you are a novice gardener.
- Water it once a week. But if you forget to water it for a few days, don't worry, as it is drought tolerant.
5. Oregano
- Let the oregano grow up to 10 cm, then cut it to stimulate it and encourage its growth.
- It is important to prune the oregano regularly, because it will grow faster and will be more bushy.
- Water only when the soil is dry, because oregano does not need a lot of water.
- In early spring, prune plants older than 3 or 4 years. Oregano regenerates on its own, so the plants will grow back easily without you having to do anything.
6. Lavender
- During the hot season, remember to water the lavender every day when it is dry.
- Prune the top of the plant to stimulate the appearance of flowers.
- If the nights get too cold, put the pot inside or cover the plant if it is in the ground.
- Once lavender is well rooted, it tolerates dry spells and heat waves much better.

7. Tarragon
- Prune the tarragon regularly so that its height does not exceed 5 cm and thus avoid flowering.
- Mulch around the foot to protect the roots in winter, especially if you live in a colder climate.
- To keep your tarragon plants healthy, divide them every 3 to 4 years in the spring or fall. Tarragon is very easy to cut.
8. Coriander
- Place your coriander pot in a place where it receives plenty of sun in the morning.
- But be aware that coriander does not like to have direct sun throughout the day. So make sure that in the afternoon the sun is not as strong as in the morning.
- The soil must be moist without overwatering, because its roots are sensitive and tend to rot if they are drowned.
9. Basil
- Basil needs good quality soil.
- To grow basil indoors, you need at least 6 hours of sunlight.
- For it to be good, place your basil behind a sunny window facing south.
10. Parsley
- Water your parsley frequently, especially during germination.
- Once it has taken well, water it regularly and frequently.
