Additional advice

It works for synthetic shoes, but also for synthetic leather and patent shoes.

You can use this trick on dark leather shoes (black or brown) but only occasionally.

The vinegar would tend to dry out the leather. To feed it to soften it then, here is a good tip.

Why does it work?

The white vinegar scrubs the shoes and removes the grayish traces encrusted.

It also helps remove dust that tarnishes the color of your shoes.

Chamois leather or old tights have the same effect. They polish the shoe and make it shiny.
