How to activate shortcuts on Gmail?
An important tip before you can start using Gmail shortcuts.
For these shortcuts to work, you must first activate this option from your Gmail account.
But do not panic ! You'll see, it’s easy ! :-) Look :
1. Open Gmail.
2. At the top right, click on the "Settings”.
3. Click on "Settings”.
4. Scroll down to the “Keyboard shortcuts”.
5. Select the option “Activate keyboard shortcuts”.
6. At the bottom of the page, click on “Save Changes”.
All keyboard shortcuts in Gmail
Compose a new message: VS
Allows you to compose a new message in a new window: SHIFT + C
Place your cursor in the search bar: /
Moves your cursor to a newer message (this shortcut also works in your contact list): K

Ignore the conversation. Future messages from this conversation will no longer appear in the inbox, unless you are the direct recipient or in Cc: M
Automatically selects a conversation or a contact: X
Toggles tracking of a message or conversation on or off. Tracking is a star icon that helps you more easily remember your messages and conversations: S
Mark a message as important. Help Gmail to automatically distribute your unidentified emails (only if you have activated the Priority inbox): +
