Fortunately, there is a simple trick to clean it easily and keep it from fogging up.
The trick is to clean your mask with toothpaste. Look :
How to do
1. Put toothpaste on a toothbrush.
2. Scrub the outside of the mask with the brush.
3. Do the same inside.
4. Let the toothpaste dry for a few minutes.
5. Rinse well with clean water to remove all the toothpaste.
6. Use a microfiber cloth to dry it.
Results
And there you have it, you've cleaned your diving mask with toothpaste :-)
No more fogging when you go diving and see the fish!
It's still nicer like that, isn't it?
Additional advice
When you rinse off the mask, make sure you have clean fingers without any sunscreen on. Otherwise you risk getting the glasses dirty.
This trick has 2 advantages. It prevents fogging in your mask, but also increases its lifespan.
Know that you must clean your mask before the first use, right after buying it.
Why ? Because most masks have a thin layer of oil to protect them during transport.
For even more effectiveness, choose a toothpaste for children. Indeed, children's toothpastes do not contain fluoride which is abrasive.
