A DIY photo album ready in 20 minutes

To avoid paying for a photo album on a website, it's easy to make one yourself in DIY mode. Making a photo album takes 20 minutes altogether.

Print your photos using your printer on photo paper of course. Then follow these steps.

Equipment

- Photo paper

- Slightly thick white, kraft or colored sheets

- Some ribbons (fabric, string, rope of your choice)

- Glue

- A trouilloteuse

How to do

1. Print your photos using your printer on photo paper.

2. Cut out the photos if necessary. The easiest way to avoid clipping is to print them all in the same size.

3. Make a hole in the leaves with your treadmill, at the top or on the side. Make sure the photo is the correct size before you make the hole. Do not make the hole too much in the middle to leave room for the photo: 1 cm from the edge is the right distance to turn the pages easily.

4. Glue the photos always on the same side (left or right).

5. Personalize each page by leaving a cool little caption or a fun title describing the photo. Preferably use a felt-tip pen but test it on a sheet to make sure it doesn't smear.

6. Make a pretty cardboard cover that you perforate in the same way as the leaves.

7. Bind the pages with your colored ribbons.

Results

And there you have it, you made your DIY photo album in 20 minutes :-)
