I have been using this secret recipe that my grandmother gave me for years. It is 100% natural and economical.

And especially my dishes are degreased and sparkling clean ! Look :

What you need

- 2 tablespoons of soda crystals

- 2 tablespoons of Marseille soap shavings

- 2 tablespoons of citric acid

- 1 tablespoon of sodium percarbonate

- Mint essential oil (optional)

- 1 closed jar

How to do

1. Pour all the ingredients into the jar.

2. Mix everything.

3. Pour a tablespoon into the dishwasher compartment.

4. Add 2-3 drops of mint essential oil (optional).

Results

And there you have it, you have made your homemade dishwasher powder :-)

Precautions

Remember to close your container in which you put your powder.

Why ? Because if you leave it in the open, there will be an emulsion and you will no longer be able to use it.

You don't need to add a lot of dishwasher powder at once as it tends to harden.

It is better to do it as you go. As you have seen, it's super quick and easy to do!

Bonus tips

- Are your dishes very dirty? Add a tablespoon of baking soda to dissolve dirt and grease. Baking soda loosens, cleans and sanitizes. It is also a very effective degreaser.

- For shiny glasses without white streaks, pour white vinegar into the rinse aid compartment.

Why does it work?

Marseille soap is a cleaner and degreaser recognized for generations.

Citric acid is a powerful anti-limescale and anti-oxidant.

Soda crystals degrease and eliminate bad odors.

Percarbonate is an excellent stain remover: it dissolves stains without difficulty.
