The Easy Way To Remove Mildew In The Washing Machine.

Is there mold in your washing machine?

This happens often, because there is always water that stagnates after washing.

As a result, your machine's gasket turns black and it ends up smelling bad.

This is true both on a window machine and on a top-opening machine.

Fortunately, there is a trick to cleaning the washer gasket and removing bad smells:

Use bleach to remove mildew from the washer gasket

How to do

1. Take a thick cloth and soak it in a mixture of 50% bleach and 50% hot water. Unfortunately, white vinegar is not strong enough.

2. Put on household gloves and rub the rubber gasket with the rag. Remember to pull the seal well to access all the nooks and crannies where the mold is hiding.

3. If mold remains on the gasket, soak the rag in the hot water bleach mixture again and place it inside the gasket. Let stand for at least 30 min as below:

Leave the towel soaked in bleach to act to clean the joint

4. Remove the rag and finish cleaning the gasket with an old toothbrush dipped in the mixture.

5. Now wipe the rubber gasket with a clean, dry cloth until no residue remains.
