How to connect to Wi-Fi for free with Hotspot?

Find out how to connect to Wi-Fi for free, if you are a Free or SFR subscriber.
For all their subscribers, Freebox and NeufBox SFR have developed a system that allows them to connect to Wi-Fi for free.
Everyone has their own ID for a shared connection
When I received my box, I immediately got my credentials to be able to connect as soon as a Freebox is close enough for me to pick up the Wi-Fi.
At Free, the network will be called: "Free Wi-Fi", at Neuf box "SFR Wi-Fi Public".
Once at my destination, I just have to scan using my computer, the available wireless networks and choose the one that corresponds to my Internet access provider.
How do I connect?
For that, I have to click on the "Start" menu and then select "Connection".
A list of all the networks in the area appears along with their signal strength.
"Free Wi-Fi" is displayed so I select this network. Likewise, if "Neuf Wi-Fi" or "SFR Wi-Fi" appear and you are at SFR, you have won: you will normally be able to have an Internet connection!
Then, I launch my internet browser: Internet Explorer, Firefox or Google Chrome.
The identification page is displayed in my window: I just have to enter my username and password.
How long does it work?
At Free, there is no maximum connection time.
Frankly, for mobile people, having to move everywhere in France, I find it a great system that allows you to connect wherever there is a box nearby without having to pay (again and again) for a connection in a cyber café for example.
You already pay for the Internet at home, there is no need to pay elsewhere.
Orange, Free and SFR have developed Hotspot networks across France which allow us to connect anywhere. Personally, I like working in cafes, with these Hotspot networks.
We told you, with the Hotspot, it's free Wi-Fi, so we save the 3 € per hour that would cost us a connection in a cybercafé.
You can now go on vacation with the assurance of being able to connect almost anywhere in France.
