20 Amazing Uses of Used Tea Bags.

For many people, tea bags are disposable.

One bag = 1 cup of tea. And then it gets thrown in the trash, doesn't it?

Well, it is not inevitable!

For starters, you can do as I did and reuse the tea bag (at least) a second time.

But wait, that's not all! The pouches have plenty of other uses that no one knows about.

Check out 20 awesome ways to reuse your old tea bags:

20 uses of already brewed tea bags

1. Can be reused for a new cup of tea

Yes, the tea bags can be used (at least) again without any problem!

Save your used tea bags and add one to your next cup of tea.

Even if a used tea bag does not have the same strength as a new tea bag, if you combine two, the taste will be just as strong. If not, you can of course add a third one.

This technique works with any type of tea, and especially green or red teas. White teas are generally too fragile to be reused multiple times.

At home, we reuse tea bags at least 2 times or even 3 times depending on the tea. Give it a try and you will see that it is super economical and just as good.

2. Flavor the pasta cooking water

Once you have brewed your cup of tea, you can reuse the sachet to flavor other foods.

Put the already infused sachets in a pot of water. When the water comes to a boil, remove the tea bags to give a nice little taste. Then add your pasta, or rice or other cereals.
