Wood flooring

First, remove the dust with a microfiber broom or old nylon pantyhose like in our tip here.

Then dilute 2 tablespoons of black soap in 5 liters of hot water. Lightly dampen the mop with this mixture and wash the floor.

No need to rinse. Dry the parquet well with a dry cloth hung on a broom.

Laminate

Vacuum or broom to remove dirt. Lightly dampen a mop with a mixture of water and 1 drop of dish soap.

Do not wet the floor too much or allow it to dry out as this could cause the laminate flooring to swell.

Linoleum

Mix 1 drop of dishwashing liquid and 1 glass of white vinegar in 5 liters of hot water. Clean the floor with this mixture and a mop.

To shine and protect the lino, apply a thin layer of pure wax milk with a microfiber cloth. Leave to dry. Repeat the operation every 2 to 6 months.

Floor tile

Mix 1 quart of hot water and 1 cup of white vinegar. Wash the tiles with this mixture and a mop. Use a dry cloth to soak up excess water on the seals.

Consider cleaning the tile thoroughly every 2-3 months. Remove stains from tile joints with a toothbrush and Meudon white.

Concrete

To remove oil and gasoline stains from the garage floor, wet the floor, sprinkle baking soda on it and scrub with an extra stiff scrub brush attached to a broom handle.

Finally, rinse thoroughly with a garden hose.

For interior concrete coverings, it is sufficient to clean the surface with a mixture of water and white vinegar.
