How to Repair Your Scratched DVDs or CDs with Toothpaste?

Try to fix them once and for all with this amazing trick.

Use toothpaste to get rid of the micro-scratches that cause your DVD playback to skip.

How to do

1. First, examine the reverse side of the DVD.

Some scratches, too pdeep or important,can be fatal.

This is not the case withsmall, who go alter the quality without making it unusable. These are the ones we are going to deal with.

2. Rinse the DVD inwater a little soapy in order to remove any particles that could scratch it again.

3. Then place the disc, shiny side up, on a tissue too smooth and soft as possible, a chamois for example.

4. Spread the toothpastegenerously with your index finger all over the reflective part by drawing circles, then let rest 5 minutes.

5. Finally rinse the DVDwith clean water, taking care that there is no toothpaste left at all.

6. Dry it carefully with a paper towel or handkerchief only, any cloth may hide small particles that could scratch our DVD again.

Results

And there you have it, the scratches on your CD or DVD have disappeared :-)

Simple, practical and efficient. Not to mention that this trick is very economical. And it's always better than having to throw away your favorite CD or DVD!
