Economical Recipe: Leftover Rice Gratin.
I don't know how it is with you ... But, at my place, I always cook too much rice.
Result, I always have plenty left in the pot! And I didn't know what to do with it. Throw it ? No way !
Fortunately, I finally found a recipe that changed from salad to using leftover rice: the rice gratin. It's economical and it's so good!
Ingredients
- Leftover rice
- Ham or leftover meat
- Leftover vegetables (ratatouille, tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms ...)
- Gruyère
How to do
1. Mix all the ingredients together.
2. Put them in a gratin dish.
3. Add fresh cream or béchamel.
4. Cover with Gruyere.
5. Put in the oven at 180 ° C for 15 min.
Results
There you go, you now know how to cook your leftover rice :-)
It is an anti-waste recipe, simple, original, quickly made and which constitutes a complete meal for summer and winter! Add a lettuce to accompany the gratin at the table.
Also take inspiration from this trick to cook excess pasta, vegetables or potatoes ... You will continue to eat well without spending too much.
