5 REALLY Effective Mosquito Repellent Natural Remedies.
It's official: mosquitoes are making their big comeback!
The rain and the clouds finally give way to a few rays of sun.
Timidly, the temperatures are rising. Great !
Except that these few spring signs also herald the return of our worst nightmare of the summer!
Namely, those damn critters thirsty for human blood that are causing unbearable itching.
Come on, let's stay calm and this summer, we're making a good resolution!
No chemical sprays that are as fatal for mosquitoes as they are for the environment and your health or anti-mosquito sockets stuffed with DEET pesticides.
Why ? Because we offer you 5 remedies that are not only natural, but especially effective so as not to get bitten again. Look :
1. The mosquito net
You never think about it. But the mosquito net is the mosquito protection, probably the oldest, and certainly also the most efficient.
The mosquito net for babies is perfect for protecting little kitties and their skin so fragile and reactive to mosquito buttons (be careful, however, that baby cannot catch the mosquito net!).
But it's not just for babies. I can also put it above my bed. It's almost romantic! As long as you don't invite a mosquito to share your protected space. Otherwise, the night will be hot ... but you won't want more!
You can also install mosquito nets on your windows and doors, if the aesthetic side does not repel you. But remember, they prevent the air from circulating well.

2. Lemon eucalyptus
Not convinced by citronella as a deadly weapon against mosquitoes? Neither do I.
Fortunately, there is much more effective than lemongrass. This is the essential oil of lemon eucalyptus. This essential oil has incredible anti-mosquito and anti-inflammatory properties.
How to use it ? Simply pour 15 drops into a diffuser or on a tissue. And place it in the room where you are. You can also slip the handkerchief into the sleeping bag while camping to be quiet at night.
Mix a few drops with your shower gel or body milk to prevent stinging during the day. I have tested and so far I have to admit that it is quite effective for me.
And if you ever get bitten by a mosquito, know that this oil calms the itching thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties.
3. Incense of essential oils
Tested and approved ! This anti-mosquito incense from the brand "Les Encens du Monde" works miracles.
Although I was skeptical at first, it must be recognized that this incense with plants and essential oils does its job well. You could even say it saved my nights last year by keeping mosquitoes out of my bedroom until late fall!
There may be similar products from other brands, but I haven't tested them. And I add that the publicity stunt is free!

4. Grandma's thing
Against mosquitoes, we can always call grandmother to the rescue! Yes, there is a radical trick to eliminating mosquitoes, night and day. I tried and it works. We already told you about it here in this tip.
To make this mosquito trap, simply mix 20 cl of water with 50 g of brown sugar. Then, boil the mixture and let cool.
Then cut a plastic bottle in half and pour the mixture into the bottom of the bottle. Add 1 g of baker's yeast without mixing.
Turn the upper part of the bottle (that of the neck) over onto the lower part containing the mixture and wrap your trap in black paper.
Place it in the room of your house where you are. It's best if the room isn't too big and the doors and windows are closed.
The gases given off by the fermentation of yeast and sugar attract mosquitoes which enter the bottle… but cannot leave!
The problem is, they are dying. And if you think that every living being has a place on Earth… that can pose a case of conscience. It's up to everyone to form their own opinion.

5. Anticipation
Prevention is better than cure. To avoid being bitten, you must create an environment hostile to mosquitoes. This is all the more important as the tiger mosquito seems more and more at ease in our temperate regions.
Rule # 1 is to empty all water containers. Do not leave pots, buckets, tubs ... full of standing water either outside or inside. Mosquitoes love to lay their larvae there.
Then avoid smelling perspiration… or smelling the rose! Mosquitoes are attracted to strong smells and scents. So prefer neutral soaps and shower gels without perfumes or chemicals.
Preserve your room by closing the windows and not turning on the light that attracts them.
On the other hand, you can forget about ultrasonic mosquito repellent applications or white or ultraviolet light electrocutors: make yourself right, they are ineffective.
And there you have it, now you know grandmother's remedies for mosquitoes!
Your turn...
