So what to put in the water to keep them longer?
All you need isa little baking soda, white vinegar and sugar. Look :
1. Use baking soda
Put a pinch of baking soda in the vase and add water. Put your flowers in the vase. When the water level drops, add more water.
2. Use white vinegar and sugar
When you put water in your vase, add 2 teaspoons of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Mix everything. Your flowers will retain real vitality and will last much longer.
Additional advice
Here are 3 more tips to keep your flowers twice as long:
- remember to remove the leaves at the bottom of the stems so that they do not soak in water. Because they are the ones that make the water rot faster.
- change the water in the vase regularly and take the opportunity to cut the bottom of the stems to a point.
- avoid putting your vase near a heat source: radiator, window in direct sunlight, computer ...
