How to Clean and Disinfect a Sponge With Baking Soda.
Sponges can clean even the smallest stain, but they get dirty very quickly.
But no need to throw it in the trash right away! You can give it a new lease of life.
So how do you clean and disinfect a very dirty sponge?
The trick is to use baking soda and its sidekick, white vinegar:
How to do
1. Fill the bottom of your sink with lukewarm water.
2. Add a small glassof baking soda and another of white vinegar.
3. Mix the lukewarm water, baking soda and white vinegar well in the sink.
4. Now put your dirty sponges in the sink and soak 1 or 2 hour (s) in this disinfectant bath.
Results
There you go, your sponges will come out like new :-)
Repeat the operation once a week to keep your sponge clean.
Bonus tip
To increase the life of your sponge, start by using your new sponge to do the dishes.
After a week or two (or even 3), use it to clean the bathroom.
After 1 or 2 weeks, have her finish her career as a toilet sponge, while cleaning it regularly, as described above.

Considering the number of sponges we buy during the year, this tip will save you money :-)
In any case, remember to buy the sponges in batch because it is much cheaper than by unit.
