If their health is really important to us, we can find solutions.
1. Make arrangements with your veterinarian
Our vet, we chose him because we like him, we feel that he is professional, that he loves his job! The kind of professional who cares about caring for and relieve animals above all. If we have a temporary money problem, he will help us without hesitation by offering us installments or even deferred payments.

2. Veterinary schools

5. The foundations
Assistance to animals or SAPAH (Caring for Animals to Help Humans), are organized in dispensaries and around the work of volunteer veterinarians. Intended for the most disadvantaged to ensure follow-up and care for their pets.
6. Veterinarians for all (VPT)
It is a federation of veterinarians and associations whose mission is to make veterinary care accessible to low-income people. It is with your veterinarian that you must inquire to make a request to VPT. The care is not free but the aids are not negligible.
Some people like to say "When you don't have money, you don't have animals!" Too simplistic as a reasoning, we are not immune from hard knocks, bad times.
Precisely, in these bad times, our faithful companions bring us a genuine moral support. In return, they ask only for love, food and care. Thanks to these organizations, this last point is now within the reach of all households.
A small disappointment all the same, many foundations and organizations do not support NAC (new pets), yet more and more numerous in French homes. (I was the proud owner of rats and degus).
