The use of Oxygenated Water, a Miracle and Economical Product.

We discuss a lot, at How to Save, the virtues of baking soda or white vinegar.

But other natural products exist.

Among these, there is hydrogen peroxide, used by our grandmothers as a bleaching agent.

Hydrogen peroxide looks the same as water but is slightly more viscous. It is colorless and has oxidizing properties.

It will therefore be used to whiten teeth or laundry, but also as a bleach or as a disinfectant.

all uses of hydrogen peroxide

Let us detail some possible uses of hydrogen peroxide.

1. Have whiter teeth

To have radiant white teeth, we have already recommended baking soda, which you can supplement with hydrogen peroxide.

Or separately, clean your teeth with hydrogen peroxide that you pour over your toothbrush. Then wash your teeth with baking soda or your usual toothpaste.

For my part, I use both at the same time for effective whitening. I soak my toothbrush with hydrogen peroxide on which I then pour a little baking soda. This is very effective, but brushing like this two to three times a week is enough to whiten your teeth.

As "toothpaste", hydrogen peroxide must be at 10 vol.

2. Make a French-manicure

For a successful French-manicure, hydrogen peroxide is very useful. It will whiten your nails. To do this, soak your nails in hot water to soften them.

Then with a cotton swab or a cotton swab soaked in hydrogen peroxide that you pass under your nails, you will be able to do a manicure yourself and find the whiteness of the tips of your nails.

3. Lighten your hair and body hair

Hydrogen peroxide is also used forhair discoloration by hairdressers. On your side, it can be used to bleach the unpleasant down that can be above the mouth, at the bottom of the belly or elsewhere.

To do this, it's the same operation: a little cotton that you soak in hydrogen peroxide and that you pass over the part to be bleached. This avoids having to shave at the risk of the hairs growing back even more coarsely.

Always with cotton and hydrogen peroxide, you can also disinfect wounds or a cut.

4. Launder your clothes

And one last trick that can be done with hydrogen peroxide is the bleaching of clothes.

Either you want to launder a tarnished and yellowed coat, pour half a bottle of hydrogen peroxide into a tub of hot water. Let it soak for at least a day.

Either you want to get rid of punctual pen, blood or other stains on your clothes, then proceed as already explained above with cotton that you have previously soaked in hydrogen peroxide.
