An inexpensive aperitif idea: the homemade puff pastry recipe
Aperitifs with friends are good.
But it's even better when you can avoid very fatty peanuts and mushy crackers.
The idea for the puff pastry comes to us from a reader who explains how she makes her own puff pastry for an original aperitif.
And don't worry, it's super easy to make these homemade puff pastry.
How to do
1. Just take a roll of puff pastry, sprinkle it generously with Provence herbs and cut it into strips, which are then twisted to form twists.
2. You then put them in the oven for 5 to 6 minutes, to brown them and you have delicious sticks to serve.
Results
And there you have it, your homemade puff pastry are already ready to be tasted :-)
The recipe can be used endlessly, with sausages, olives, cheese or even anchovies.
You just have to cut the dough according to the size of what you want to put inside and brown in the oven.
Savings made
In stores, this kind of puff pastry is generally soldbetween 30 and 45 euros per kilo ...
A fortune when you know how much time you have to devote to their preparation!
This recipe will come back to you, at around one euro for about thirty pieces.
It will of course take a little more if you add other ingredients, but I guarantee you will save at least 25 euros on your aperitif.
This is far from negligible!
