Fortunately, there is an effective solution to make it rise naturally to the surface of the skin, even if it is invisible.

The simple remedy for removing a splinter without tweezers is to make a baking soda plaster.

How to do

1. Mix one part water to 3 parts baking soda.

2. Stir well to obtain a homogeneous paste.

3. Apply this paste to the area where the splinter is.

4. Wrap everything with cling film.

5. Leave to act for at least 30 minutes. This preparation can be left to act for up to 2 hours, in order to be sure that the splinter has risen to the surface of the skin.

Results

There you go, now you can easily remove your splinter :-)

A little patience and baking soda came to the end. It's very handy if you can't even see it with a magnifying glass.

With the baking soda, you don't even need cream or ointment to bring up a thorn stuck in a finger!

Do not hesitate to have someone help you who may be more skilled than you in helping you extract it.

Bonus tips

If you don't have baking soda, you can try another solution for removing a splinter using either sweet almond or olive oil, your choice, to squeeze the splinter out.
