These homemade lozenges are perfect to keep your toilets always clean.

What you need
- 40 g of citric acid
- 120 g of baking soda
- 15 drops of lavender essential oil
- ice tray
- water spray
- big bowl
- household gloves
How to do
1. Put on your household gloves.
2. Combine the citric acid, baking soda, and essential oil in the bowl.
3. Spray a tiny bit of water to moisten the mixture and make it compact.
4. Transfer the mixture to the ice cube tray.
5. Tamp the mixture into the compartments of the ice cube tray with your fingers.
6. Let this mixture harden for at least 12 hours.
7. Unmold and put the pastilles in an airtight jar.
Results
And There you go ! Your homemade effervescent tablets for toilets are already ready :-)

To use them, nothing could be simpler!
Just put 1 or 2 in the bowl and leave to act for about 20 minutes.
Then brush the walls and flush the toilet.

Additional advice
- To make the recipe a success, add the water in very small quantities with the sprayer. Indeed, the mixture should be barely wet (it should not foam). Otherwise the recipe may be missed.
- You can obviously vary the scents by changing the essential oils: lemon, eucalyptus, rosemary, lemongrass ...
- Avoid handling citric acid with bare hands and mix it in a ventilated room.
- To keep the pastilles for several months, put the pebbles in an airtight jar.
Why does it work?
Citric acid descales and scours all surfaces. It also allows the toilet bowl to be disinfected effortlessly.
As for baking soda, it sanitizes and deodorizes quickly.
Finally, lavender essential oils disinfects and leaves a good scent in the toilet.
