My Grandmother's Trick to Store Carrots Longer.

Do you like crunchy raw carrots?

Me too ! This is what I prefer. So there is no question of letting them soften without taking action!

Luckily, my grandmother had a trick that always works to keep carrots crunchy longer.

To keep them fresh, simply cut their leaves and store them in newspaper. Look :

How to do

1. Remove the tops sometimes present on the carrots.

2. Wrap the carrots in newspaper.

3. Place them in the fridge crisper.

Results

There you go, your carrots stay fresh and crunchy for longer :-)

Why it works

The leaves that are sometimes present when you buy carrots in the supermarket tend to dehydrate the root of the vegetable, or even remove all of its vitamins.

With the trick of my grandmother, you will even be able to keep them even longer. No waste! Awesome, isn't it?
