Luckily, there is a powerful recipe for how to easily clean a heavily soiled griddle.
The trick is use a mixture of black soap and soda crystals. Look :
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of soda crystals
- 2 teaspoons of lukewarm water
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil black soap
- 1 microfiber cloth
How to do
1. Mix the soda crystals with the lukewarm water.
2. Add two tablespoons of black soap.
3. Mix well.
4. Add the other two tablespoons of black soap.
5. Mix again.
6. Apply the mixture to the baking sheet with a sponge.
7. Leave on for 15 min.
8. Scrub with a sponge.
9. Wipe with a microfiber cloth.
Results
And there you have it, your baking sheet is perfectly clean and completely degreased :-)
This homemade recipe works for all types of hobs, whether electric or gas.
On the other hand, know that it is not necessary not use it on an induction or ceramic hob, nor on aluminum surfaces.
Bonus tip
You can use this grandmother's recipe to also clean the oven door or your barbecue.
Remember to wear a pair of gloves when handling soda crystals as they can irritate the skin.
