Here is an original idea to recycle them in trash.

How to do
1. Cut the straws in half
2. Fold two straws on top of each other (photo 1).
3. Repeat with two more straws.
4. Insert this segment into the first (photo 2).
5. Start over.
Results
And there you have it, you recycled your plastic straws :-)
