How To Clean Mushrooms? 3 Effective Tips.

Do you know ? Mushrooms do not wash off. Mushrooms are like sponges, they soak up water.

This is why they should never be put under the tap or left to soak: they should be dry cleaned.

Fortunately, my grandmother told me her 3 simple tips to easily clean mushrooms and get rid of the dirt.

How to do

1. We cut the stems of the mushrooms and we cleans with a damp cloth to get rid of traces of soil and any insects.

2. You can rub them gently with a small brush, it's even more effective. You can use a nail brush or a toothbrush (new of course) to do this neatly.

3. We can scratch them with a knife. It's quick, easy and the result is flawless.

Results

There you go, your mushrooms are now completely clean :-)

By cleaning the mushrooms dry, you will be able to cut without problem and not having the impression of eating a sponge when you cook them in salads.
