The Bike Washing Machine (BWM) is the 1st bicycle washing machine!
With its clean look, this exercise bike which also doubles as a washing machine is very easy to operate. Look :
No need for electricity to run it. The only source of energy it needs is you! Finally, more specifically, your muscles.
As with any conventional electric washing machine, there is a drum.
But in this specific case, it was installed at the front wheel of the bike.
One more step towards energy autonomy
The idea is simple and ecological: to wash your laundry, just pedal!
The bicycle crankset mechanically drives the machine drum, thanks to your efforts.
So if you want to do laundry, you have to plan a little workout! Obviously, chances are your laundry will benefit from a gentle wash.
Before being able to reach the 1600 rpm of a conventional electric washing machine, you will have to follow a very high level training ...
But this concept has the merit of offering an alternative to all-electric, to move towards greater energy independence.
In addition, this washing machine exercise bike also features a USB charging system.
The electricity generated by pedaling can be stored in batteries.
It will then come to power small household appliances. And hopefully more electricity savings thanks to a few pedal strokes!
