How to do
1. Download the Tricount app here for iPhone and here for Android.
2. Create a free account.
3. During your stay, enter the amount of each expense by selecting the person who paid.
4. At the end of your stay, open the app to find out who owes how much and to whom.
5. All that remains is to pay the corresponding amounts.
Results
And there you have it, you can now do your accounts with friends easily without arguments :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, isn't it?
It's still more practical than writing everything down on a small piece of paper or in Excel!
All your expenses are recorded during your stay: plane tickets, hotels, car rentals, restaurants, groceries, etc.
This app works to do accounts with friends, colleagues, roommates, but also with your girlfriend or boyfriend.
Bonus app: Splitwise
Be aware that there is also another app that does the exact same thing as Tricount.
It's called Splitwise and it's also free. It also has a cool, easy-to-use design.
I have a little preference for Splitwise but it's up to you to see which one you prefer!
The 2 apps are free and offer additional paid options. But don't worry these options are far from essential.
You can very well use these apps to make your accounts with friends without subscribing to the paid options.
